Remapping the engine of your Mclaren 675LT is an operation that must take place in a professional garage or with a chiptuning specialist. ECU remapping involves modifying the engine map, also known as the onboard computer map. Certain engine management parameters, stored in the electronic control unit of your vehicle, are optimised to increase power and torque.
Before modifying the engine map of your vehicle, our team of expert engineers carries out an engine tune-up and mechanical inspection to ensure the condition of the components prior to engine preparation.
A dynamometer run is then necessary to measure power and torque before chiptuning. A read and backup is performed in case it needs to be restored. Once modified, the map is flashed back into the ECU. A final dynamometer run analyses the new performance figures.
