We access the engine control unit (ECU) via an OBD interface to read and adapt the original file. The calibration is carried out to measure at our motorsport centre, or on-site as required. Engine optimisation improves torque, responsiveness and driving pleasure. Depending on the engine type and configuration, certain peripheral parameters may also be adjusted within the manufacturer's original tolerances.
All Powerchips optimisations are carried out manually by our engineers on a Rotronics 4x4 1200hp dynamometer. Our team brings together over 30 years of experience across all engine types. Each stage corresponds to a level of engine preparation. Stage 1 is purely software-based. Stage 2 includes mechanical modifications. Stage 3 is reserved for track use.
