Each engine tuning project (also known as ECU remapping or chiptuning) is individually handcrafted by our team of highly qualified engineers, combining decades of experience in engine calibration since 1989. Every development is tested on our Rotronics 4x4 1200hp dynamometer.
The dynamometer serves two essential purposes for increasing engine performance:
- Precisely measuring the vehicle’s torque and horsepower before and after ECU remapping.
- Developing the perfect calibration for each new engine platform in order to provide our customers with some of the highest-quality ECU remapping solutions on the market.
To reproduce real-world driving conditions as accurately as possible, the Powerchips dyno test bench is equipped with a 60,000 m³/h airflow ventilation system.
